Message: Here's an example of two point perspective where each object has its own vanishing points. The objects are rotated relative to the viewer - they're not gridded in the viewer's system of coordinates but in their own.
You can have as many vanishing points anywhere in the image as you want, but for each object they must be spaced equally apart - 90 degrees must be the same 90 degrees for all the objects in the same picture: the linear distance between the vanishing points must be the same. Everything else is free. You can relate the objects to one another through the viewer's perspective gird by choosing some corner or point that is the same in both grids. This produces consistent perspective. |
